I sense that he was trying to be sarcastic here, but it falls
flat when you consider that the rest of his passage isn't the best
of English, either.
Take this part, for instance:
I dunno about you guys, but i can easily name 10 people (not
even related to the government!) that still hold good steady jobs
over the age of 40. So please don't take your taxi drivers as case
study for the whole populace.
1. 'Dunno' - should be 'don't know'.
2. 'i' - capital letters, please.
3. '...10 people that still hold good steady jobs'
- 'that' is used for animals and inanimate objects.
How dehumanising.
4. '.... taxi drivers as case study...' - insert 'a' between 'as'
and 'case'.
Oh well. I've had my dose of laughter. This whole altercation has
been thrashed out ad nauseum. And seriously, I had better stop
laughing before I do get nauseated.
